Okay, I want to talk a wee bit about the "Effortless Style"...
The effortless style takes a heck of a lot of effort to achieve. There, I said it. It's the truth.
I am all about the soft, natural, "French" look. The messy tousled hair that seems to look perfectly messy in a way that doesn't look like a hobo. The clear dewy skin, full brows, and a nude lip done in a perfect "I just woke up like this" look and not "what year is it" look. But what is it that these women are doing to look so good and effortless at the same time? A LOT OF EFFORT.
You see, in order to be able to have these luscious locks is the time, dedication, the right tools, the right products, and TLC. Understanding your hair type and texture will also help you. What I've learned is that they don't neglect their hair because they have awesome Aphrodite genes like we think they do. These women are strict on their frequent hair trims(to get rid of those awful split ends), moisturizing hair treatments, staying away from heat tools or less frequent use of heat tools, vitamins &/or a balanced diet, and not ripping their hair out when brushing it.
The same goes for skin care. They wash their face twice a day, always use their correct skin care products, never go to sleep with makeup on, preform at home facials or get professional facials, and of course, a balanced diet and lots of water.
So do you see how much work is in this so called effortless look? It's no wonder why they can wake up and get ready in 15 mins or less looking like a total bombshell. After years and much research in skin care and hair care and my obsession with the effortless look, I decided to go to cosmetology school, learn even more, and teach people about taking better care of themselves. Of course your hair and skin are not the only things you should be taking care of, but its always a good start.
