Rosemary is known for healthy hair growth. Not only does this rosemary rinse help promote hair growth, it makes your hair so soft, shiny, and smell so amazing! So I want to share with you guys a very simple DIY on how I make my hair feel like silk. The Materials: 15 - 20 drops of rosemary essential oil 10 drops of almond oil 7 cups of water
Now, I like to do this in the shower. I can be a bit clumsy so I have figured out that it's best if I do things like this in the shower. After I cleansed my hair with my Matrix Biolage Cleansing Conditioner, I literally stuck my head in the pot. I like to get the most out of everything so just dumping the pot over my head would make me feel as if I just wasted my rinse. So after its all saturated in my hair, I pour it over my head for one last rinse. Then, I towel dry my hair with my favorite Deva Curl microfiber towel. Once I get most of the moisture out of my hair, I gently brush my hair and tip my head over to blow dry. I usually like to air dry my hair but when I'm in a hurry, and don't want to leave the house wet, I blow dry my hair with cold air. NO HEAT. I use the cold shot button like it's the only button on my dryer. I also like blowdrying my hair upside down for fullness and it seems to speed up the drying process. That's all there is to the rosemary rinse!
My hair is left silky soft and scented like a wonderful herb garden.
